![]() If I want to roleplay my character as a spellcasting druid, then perhaps summoning a swarm of insects to continually encircle my enemy and damage them is more fitting than raising a zombie? I find a variety of different spell themes and fantasies to be interesting. There's more to roleplaying games than just saying that you can summon a demon, so why would I want to summon a swarm of insects instead? I mean, by that logic, why would I wanna summon a seeker when I can summon a dremora? Why would I wanna summon a familiar when I can raise a zombie? They're all just Conjuration spells, aren't they? The reasons are mechanical, but also thematic. Which is something I stand by, and hope Obsidian do, no matter what delivery method they use. I'm talking about using more interesting themes to allow for a greater dimension of roleplaying possibilities. I think you're missing my point.I'm not talking about drawing runes in the air instead of using MP, or creating some other type of mechanically different magic system.
